BOTAMENT® M 53 EXTRA is a self-spreading floor filler used to level substrates in interior areas. Due to the fibre reinforcement the risk of crack formation when application onto critical substrates is considerably reduced.

  • For heated areas and for embedding thin-layered underfloor heating systems
  • Suitable for critical wooden substrates and mixed Substrates

  • Can be pumped and spread with a coating knife
  • Can be extended with quartz sand to go further

Application areas

BOTAMENT® M 53 EXTRA is suitable as:

  • a substrate for floor coverings of all kinds including tiles
  • Floor filler in wet rooms

Substrate preparation

The substrate must be in the following condition:

  • clean and frost-free
  • stable
  • free from grease, paint, cement laitance, separating agents, sinter layers and loose particles

Absorbent substrates must be primed with BOTAMENT® D 11 (leave primer to dry until a tack-free film has formed).

  • prior to application of BOTAMENT® M 53 EXTRA install flexible edging strips
  • mix up using cold, clean water while stirring continuously with a slow rotating agitator
  • mixing duration: at least 2 minutes
